For the second straight game 13
th-ranked Lourdes rallied from a double digit second half deficit as the Gray Wolves force overtime on Wednesday evening before downing 22
nd-ranked Madonna 87-77 inside The Activities Center in Livonia, Mich.

After battling back from 13 points down with 2:10 to play on Saturday to defeat Indiana Tech, Lourdes rallied from a 14-point deficit with under 16 minutes to play for the win.

"We did a nice job of keeping our composure tonight and we sustained great energy from the last game," head coach
Dennis Hopson said afterwards. "We are playing to win and the guys are sharing the ball."

Trailing 48-34 with 15:52 to play, Lourdes went on a 20-5 run over the next eight minutes, taking the lead on a three-pointer by
Little Anderson (Toledo, Ohio/Cardinal Stritch H.S.). The lead then changed hands six times over the final eight minutes, with neither team leading by more than one possession.

Madonna led 69-66 in the final minute when
Mike Bruce (Ypsilanti, Mich./Ypsilanti H.S.) scored inside with 26.8 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to one. After the Crusaders made one of two free throws, Bruce forced overtime with his jumper with 8.4 ticks left on the clock.

The Crusaders had one last chance in the closing seconds, but
Julian Egbo (Toledo, Ohio/Rogers H.S.) blocked the game-winning attempt, sending the game to overtime tied at 70.

With the game tied at 77 with just over two minutes to play in the extra session,
Kenny Coleman (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.) scored back-to-back baskets and Anderson followed with a breakaway dunk as the Gray Wolves scored the game's final 10 points to earn the win.

Madonna started quickly in the contest, scoring the game's first 10 points and led the entire first half, taking a 42-34 lead into the locker room. The Crusaders scored the first six points of the second half to build their 14-point lead before Lourdes rallied.

Coleman led Lourdes with 22 points while Bruce added 16 off the bench.Â
Nick Welch (Temperance, Mich./Saint Mary Catholic Central H.S.) registered a double-double with 14 points and 10 boards while Anderson chipped in 12 points.

Lourdes shot 47.1% from the floor, including 77.8% (7-of-9) in overtime.

Dwight Burton led Madonna (16-6, 8-4 WHAC) with 23 points while Joshua Reynolds added 19 points.

Lourdes (16-5, 10-3) steps out of league action on Saturday afternoon, traveling to Orrville, Ohio to face Akron Wayne. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. inside of the Boyer Health & PE Center.
