Taking to the road for the first time in 2020, Lourdes suffered a 1-0 setback to Siena Heights on Saturday afternoon at O'Laughlin Stadium in Adrian, Mich.
 
The two sides played a scoreless opening 45 minutes, with holding a slim 6-5 shot advantage at the break.
 
Siena Heights (2-0, 2-0 WHAC) scored its lone goal with 21:05 to play in regulation as Jennifer Richmond scored on a rebound following a deflection off Gray Wolf netminder Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.).
 
The Saints finished the match with a 14-9 shot edge, including a 5-4 edge on net.  Katie Varney (Brownstown, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) led Lourdes with three shot attempts, two of which were on frame.
 
Williams made four saves for the Gray Wolves between the posts while Kara Bishop made four stops to earn the clean sheet for Siena Heights.
 
Siena Heights also had a 5-3 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
 
Lourdes (0-3, 0-2) will remain on the road next Saturday, traveling to Southfield, Mich. to face Lawrence Tech.  Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at Blue Devils Stadium.
