Trailing 3-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh, Lourdes rallied in the late innings before earning a 5-4 walk-off victory against Viterbo on Tuesday at the Grizzly Baseball Complex in Lawrenceville, Ga.

"This was a good team win," head coach
Josh Bradford said afterwards. "We got a solid pitching performance, took advantage of a couple of their miscues, and got a few big hits when we needed them."

The Hawks took the lead in the third and added to their advantage with a leadoff home run by Evan Wenberg in the fifth. The Gray Wolves answered, taking advantage of a Viterbo error in the bottom of the fifth.Â
Glen Crabtree (Medina, Ohio/Black River H.S.) delivered a two-run double to tie the game.

An unearned run in the top of the sixth put Viterbo back in front, a lead the Hawks would hold until the seventh.Â

Brad Ammons (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) tied the game at three with a sacrifice fly that plated
Josh Hare (Simcoe, Ont./Holy Trinity H.S.). One batter later,
Cameron Gallo (Mason, Ohio/Bishop Fenwick H.S.) singled home pinch-hitter
Hunter Mix (Swanton, Ohio/Swanton H.S.) to put the Gray Wolves in front.

Viterbo (5-13) tied the game in the top of the ninth, setting the stage for the Gray Wolves' walk-off win.Â
Harrison Jackson (Millbury, Ohio/Lake H.S.) reached on an error to lead off the inning before Crabtree singled down the right field line to deliver the winning run.

 Gallo had three hits while Crabtree had two more as part of the Gray Wolves' seven-hit attack on the day.

Noah Stants (Commerce Township, Mich./Walled Lake Northern H.S.) started and pitched five innings, allowing just two runs and three hits while striking out eight in a no decision.Â
Jake Tucker (Tucson, Ariz./Canyon Del Oro H.S.) picked up the win in the relief, taking over in the ninth.

Austin Stibbe suffered the loss (0-1) for the Hawks.Â

Lourdes (6-6) will head to Dayton, Tenn. to continue its spring trip on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves face Bryan. First pitch is set for 6 p.m. at Senter Field.
