Â
"This was a tough result today and our slow start hurt us," head coach
Jackie Phillips said following the match. "We will look to get better for our next match."
Â
The Trailblazers Emmie Brenly scored the only goal of the game at the 9:25 mark. She was on the receiving end of a cross from Kassandra Sexton from the right side of the box and found the back of the net.

The Gray Wolves had a chance to tie with just under 18 minutes to play. Following a hand ball in the penalty area,
McKenzie Klingensmith (Stow, Ohio/Stow-Munroe Falls H.S.) had a penalty kick which she sent to her left, but Hanschu made a diving stop to keep Lourdes off the scoreboard.
Â
Lourdes also had a 7-4 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
Â
Lily Yoder (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.), making her collegiate debut, made two saves in goal for the Gray Wolves.
