Playing its second indoor match of the week on Friday morning, Lourdes dropped a 7-1 decision to Grace inside of Total Sports in Rossford, Ohio.

The Lancers jumped in front 3-0 by halftime, outshooting the Gray Wolves 13-3 over the opening 45 minutes. Grace extended its lead to five before
Emily Johnson (Lapeer, Mich./Lapeer H.S.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 72
nd minute to put the Gray Wolves on the scoreboard.Â
Chloe Nofziger (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold H.S.) took a shot that ricocheted through the Lancers' defense and Johnson was able to knock it home.

Grace (11-4-1) added two more tallies late in the match to earn the win. Sacia Hanson scored twice and added two assists to lead the Lancer offense.

The Lancers finished with a 20-8 shot advantage for the match, including a 13-2 edge on frame.Â
Kerstyn Williams (Taylor, Mich./Woodhaven H.S.) made six stops for the Gray Wolves, setting a new school mark with 263 career saves. Bethany Blackwood made one stop for Grace.

Lourdes (1-6) will have two weeks off before returning to Total Sports on Feb. 26 as the Gray Wolve face Point Park. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
