Beginning a three-game in three-day stretch to close the regular season, Lourdes dropped a 63-41 decision to ninth-ranked Indiana Tech on Sunday afternoon inside the Schaeffer Center.
The Gray Wolves shot 31.4% for the game, including just 18.5% in the opening half while Indiana Tech answered shooting 52.6% (10-of-19) from three-point range on the day.
Indiana Tech never trailed in the game, scoring the game's first seven points while holding the Gray Wolves scoreless for nearly five minutes. Lourdes clawed back, pulling within one, 12-11, late in the opening period before another 8-0 spurt by the hosts.
The Gray Wolves were back within five, 20-15, with 6:22 to play before halftime when Indiana Tech closed the stanza on a 13-2 run to build a 35-17 halftime advantage.
Indiana Tech sported another 8-0 outburst to close the third quarter, pushing the lead to 27, 58-31, before Lourdes held the Warriors to just two field goals and five total points over the final 10 minutes.
Gabby Stover (Lexington, Ohio/Lexington H.S.) led Lourdes with 13 points while
Mary Liedel (Erie, Mich./Mason H.S.) was one point shy of a double-double, finishing the afternoon with nine points and 10 rebounds.
Kailani Broyles (Massillon, Ohio/Washington H.S.) also scored nine points in the loss.
Taya Andrews led Indiana Tech (22-2, 10-1 WHAC) with 18 points while Erika Foy and Eileen Salisbury added 14 points each.

Lourdes (4-11, 3-8) will return home to the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Monday afternoon for the final home game of the regular season. The Gray Wolves will host Concordia (Mich.) in a make-up game from a Jan. 31 postponement. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m.
