Lexi Hunt (Cape May, N.J./Lower Cape May H.S.) scored twice for Lourdes on Monday evening but Cleary came away with a 21-2 victory over the Gray Wolves at Lake Trust Stadium in Howell, Mich.
 
Hunt put the Gray Wolves in front with the game's first goal just over two minutes into the contest and added another tally with 4:10 to play in the game.
 
"I am so proud of Lexi for scoring two goals tonight," head coach Sierra Wagoner said afterwards.  "Being a defender her whole life, she has really stepped up in an offensive role this season."
 
Cleary (1-2, 1-2 WHAC) built a 14-1 lead at halftime and extended to the advantage to 20-1 before Hunt's final tally.
 
The Cougars outshot the Gray Wolves 42-5, with Hunt taking three of the five Lourdes attempts.  Cleary also had a 7-4 ground ball advantage.
 
Jacque Pappadakes (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River H.S.) made 13 saves in goal for the Gray Wolves.
 
"The outcome is obviously not what we want, but it has been another learning experience for this specific team to grow," Wagoner added.  "We will be hitting the practice field hard again to prep for next week's games."
 
Lourdes (0-2, 0-2) will return to action on April 7 as the Gray Wolves host Concordia (Mich.).  The opening draw is slated for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
