Making up a game from a postponement earlier this season, Lourdes suffered a 22-0 loss to Bethel (Ind.) on Monday evening at Morey Field in Mishawaka, Ind.
Becca Broadwick scored five times for the Pilots in the game as Bethel (5-7, 2-4 WHAC) built a 15-0 lead by halftime and continued to extend its advantage in the second half.
The Pilots outshot Lourdes 44-3 for the game, with
Kyaira Stephens (Calumet City, Ill./TF South H.S.) leading the way with two attempts for the Gray Wolves. Stephens also had a team-high four ground balls as the Pilots finished with a 33-16 advantage in that category as well.
Jacque Pappadakes (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River H.S.) made 12 saves in goal for the Gray Wolves.
Lourdes (0-5, 0-5) will close out the home portion of the schedule on Wednesday afternoon hosting Indiana Tech. The opening draw is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
