Lourdes saw the home portion of the 2021 women's lacrosse campaign come to a close on Wednesday afternoon as the Gray Wolves suffered a 22-0 setback to Indiana Tech at Wildcat Stadium.
 
The Warriors started quickly, scoring eight times in the game's first six minutes on the way to a 17-0 halftime advantage.  Indiana Tech had 14 different goal scorers in the game.
 
Indiana Tech (5-4, 4-3 WHAC) outshot Lourdes 41-3 on the afternoon.  
Erin Manley (Ottawa Lake, Mich./Whiteford H.S.) had two of the Gray Wolves' three shot attempts, both of which were on goal, while 
Emiliana Taylor (Granger, Ind./Saint Joseph H.S.) had the other.
 
Jacque Pappadakes (Rocky River, Ohio/Rocky River H.S.) made 15 saves in the cage for the Gray Wolves.
 
The Warriors also had a 20-13 edge in ground balls.  Manley led Lourdes with five while Pappadakes had four.
 
Lourdes (0-6, 0-6) will close out the regular season on Saturday morning, traveling to Madonna.  The opening draw is set for 11 a.m. at the Madonna Athletic Complex in Livonia, Mich.
