Jackie Harris (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Francis de Sales H.S.) has been named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
The Gray Wolf junior netted a career-high 26 points on Wednesday in Lourdes' 113-62 victory over Lambton. He added 10 rebounds for his fourth double-double of the season. Harris was 9-of-18 from the floor, including 6-of-13 from three-point range. He also had two assists and two steals.
For the season, Harris is averaging 14.8 points and a team-leading 6.9 rebounds per game.
Lourdes (10-5) returns to the court on Thursday evening as the Gray Wolves play an exhibition game at NCAA Division I foe Toledo. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. inside Savage Arena.
