Lourdes fell behind early at ninth-ranked Siena Heights and was unable to recover falling 20-5 on Saturday afternoon at O'Laughlin Stadium.

"Today showed us that we have a lot to work on still as we continue conference play this season," head coach Sierra Wagoner said afterwards.

The Saints scored the game's first six goals just 11 minutes into the contest before Amelia McCourt (Bloomfield Hills, Mich./Bloomfield Hills H.S.) found the back of the net for the Gray Wolves late in the opening quarter.  McCourt then added two more goals early in the second to pull Lourdes to within four, 7-3.

Siena Heights (3-5, 2-1 WHAC) tallied the final three goals of the first half to build a seven-goal advantage at the break before coming out of halftime with five more tallies to increase the advantage to 15-3.

McCourt added her fourth goal of the game late in the third while Jordin Rawski (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) added a tally midway through the final stanza with McCourt drawing the assist.

"Amelia McCourt was powerful and a leader on our offense this game," Wagoner added.  "I look forward to watching her grow the rest of the season."
