Lourdes ran into an explosive Indiana Tech squad on Saturday afternoon, falling to the second-ranked Warriors 20-5 at Wildcat Stadium.
 
Goals by Nick Johnson (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) and Kyle Schiel (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) allowed Lourdes to pull even with Indiana Tech 2-2 midway through the opening quarter before the Warriors scored seven of the next eight goals.  Caden Louthan (Dripping Springs, Texas/Dripping Springs H.S.) was the lone tally for the Gray Wolves to interrupt the streak.  Johnson then added his second goal of the game with 23 seconds to play to pull Lourdes withing five, 9-4, at intermission.
 
Liam Wisniewski's (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) goal at the 9:26 mark of the third would be Lourdes only tally in the second half, as the Warriors scored the game's final 10 goals.
 
Samuel Bodley scored five times for Indiana Tech (7-1, 3-0 WHAC) as the Warriors outshot the Gray Wolves 52-21 on the afternoon.  George Hoexum (Ada, Mich./Forest Hills Eastern H.S.) made 19 saves in the cage for Lourdes.
 
The Gray Wolves won 17-of-29 faceoffs and finished wit a 35-31 edge in ground balls.  Ezequel Ceant (Vero Beach, Fla./Vero Beach H.S.) won 9-of-12 draws at the X while picking up a team-high nine ground balls.
 
Lourdes (4-3, 1-2) heads to Livonia, Mich. on Wednesday afternoon to battle Madonna.  The opening faceoff is set for 3 p.m. at the Madonna Soccer & Lacrosse Field.
