Lourdes and Roosevelt battled for 90 minutes in the heat on Saturday afternoon, but neither could find the back of the net as the two sides battled to a scoreless draw at Morris Field in Arlington Heights, Ill.

The Lakers held a 7-3 shot advantage over the opening 45 minutes, with each side registering two shots on goal. The Gray Wolves then had the edge in the second half 5-2 in overall shot attempts, and including four on net, but were held off the scoreboard.

Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) made two saves for her first shutout of the season in goal. The clean sheet was the fifth of her career, tied with Kiley Transit (2016-2018) for third most in program history. Roxana Herrera had six stops for Roosevelt (0-1-1) in her shutout as well.

Abigail Mann (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.) had three shot attempts, all on net, to lead the Gray Wolf offense while
Brynn McGarvey (Meridian, Idaho/Rocky Mountain H.S.) fired off two shots, one of which was on frame.

Lourdes (1-0-1) returns to action on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves host Holy Cross (Ind.). Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
