For the second consecutive match 90 minutes was not enough to decide an outcome for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves battled Holy Cross (Ind.) to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
 
The Saints struck first as Kassidi Puthoff found the back of the net with Lauren Cernak drawing the assist with 11:42 to play before intermission.
 
Holy Cross would take the lead into the break after outshooting the Gray Wolves 4-3 over the opening 45 minutes.
 
Lourdes evened the match just 2:07 out of halftime.  Annah Zacerkowny (LaSalle, Ont./Sandwich H.S.) scored following a corner kick that was taken by Abigail Mann (Toledo, Ohio/Southview H.S.).  For Zacerkowny, it was her first goal of the season and fourth of her career.
 
Neither side would find the back of the net the rest of the way.  Lourdes finished the match with a 10-7 shot advantage, with Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) madding five saves between the posts for the Gray Wolves.  Taylor Primack made five stops for Holy Cross (1-0-4) as well.
 
Lourdes (1-0-2) remains at home on Saturday evening as the Gray Wolves entertain Point Park.  Kickoff is set for 5 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
