Indiana Tech scored a pair of goals in the first 19 minutes of the match and added another in the closing seconds on the way to defeating Lourdes 3-0 on Wednesday afternoon at Wildcat Stadium.
Danielle Dunn put the Warriors on the scoreboard just 2:08 into the contest, dribbling through the Gray Wolf defense and scoring to the far post.
Dunn then doubled the advantage with her second goal of the match at the 18:27 mark after receiving a long cross-field pass from Abbie Hulme on the right side and firing to the far post.
Indiana Tech (3-8-1, 1-4-1 WHAC) maintained the 2-0 lead into intermission despite Lourdes outshooting the Warriors 7-3 over the opening 45 minutes.
The Warriors tallied their final goal with just 17 seconds remaining as Madison Carver lofted a ball from 50 yards out over the Gray Wolf defense, which was pushed forward, and into the back of the net.
Lourdes finished the match with a 12-9 shot advantage and a 6-4 edge in corner kick opportunities but Michaela Bitle made five saves for the shutout for Indiana Tech.
Emmy Rodger (Romeo, Mich./Romeo H.S.) made three saves in net for the Gray Wolves.
Lourdes (4-7-1, 1-5) remains home on Saturday afternoon as the Gray Wolves entertain seventh-ranked Aquinas. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. The match is the program's annual Cancer Match, in which the Gray Wolves will be raising money for local organizations.
