Final Results
Lourdes wrapped up its cross country season on Friday afternoon with a ninth place finish at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships held at Riverside Park in Grand Rapids, Mich.
The Gray Wolves finished with 244 points on the day, just 14 behind eighth place Siena Heights. Lourdes was 31 points in front of 10
th place Concordia (Mich.). Aquinas won the league title with 31 points while Cornerstone finished runner-up with 60 points.
Liam LeBlanc (Macomb, Mich./Henry Ford H.S.) led the way for the Gray Wolves, finishing 28
th individually with a time of 26:37.1 over the eight-kilometer course. He dropped 15 seconds off his time on the same course two weeks ago at the NAIA Great Lakes Invitational.
Elliott Ramsey (Toledo, Ohio/Emmanuel Christian H.S.) followed across the finish line in a time of 28:27.9, just ahead of
Levi Trout (North Baltimore, Ohio/North Baltimore H.S.) and
Nolan Portteus (Battle Creek, Mich./Lakeview H.S.) who finished in 28:337 and 28:35.1 respectively.
Seth Beerens (Manchester, Mich./Manchester H.S.) rounded out the scoring with his time of 28:50.4.
Andrew Ireland of Aquinas was the individual league champion with a time of 25:17.0, finishing 10 seconds ahead of runner-up Mehdi Nait Hamoud of Madonna.
