Lourdes closed out its spring trip undefeated on Friday afternoon as the Gray Wolves defeated Montreat 15-9 at Pulliam Stadium in Black Mountain, N.C.
 
Brock Meomartino (Cumberland, R.I./Cumberland H.S.) and Nick Johnson (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) each scored four times and added an assist while Ben Reidy (Saskatoon, Sask./Bishop James Mahoney H.S.) had a four-point game with two goals and two assists.
 
The two sides were tied at three after the opening quarter before Lourdes took a 5-4 lead into halftime.  After the Cavaliers tied the game 14 seconds into the second half, the Gray Wolves scored the next four goals to take the lead for good.  A 6-1 run spanning the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth put the game out of reach for Lourdes.
 
Jack Durham (Zeeland, Mich./East H.S.) picked up a team-high 12 ground balls on the afternoon while Jack Bichsel (Westerville, Ohio/North H.S.) made five saves in the cage.
 
Lourdes (3-0) returns to action on Monday, March 20, as the Gray Wolves host SCAD-Savannah for the team's home opener.  The opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
