Ninth-ranked Lourdes bounced back from a Friday evening setback to defeat Siena Heights 25-20, 25-20, 25-22 on Saturday afternoon inside SHU Fieldhouse in Adrian, Mich.

"We bounced back well today," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We received serve very well, which gave us ample opportunities to work on our offense. We will focus on continued improvement for our next match."

Jaber Badarne (Arrabe, Israel/Hof Hasharon) put down a match-high 18 kills, swinging at a .429 clip, while
Joey Bianco (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder H.S.) led an offense that hit .264 as a team, dishing out 33 assists. Bianco also picked up 14 digs to complete a double-double.

Trailing 9-8 in the opening set, the Gray Wolves scored six of the next eight points to take the lead for good. In set two, Lourdes hit .382 and never trailed in the stanza. Down 13-12 in the third, Lourdes scored the next four points and never allowed the Saints to pull even the rest of the way and completed the sweep.

Jakob Pickett led Siena Heights (5-13, 3-12 WHAC) with 16 kills while Jacob Kisner and Zak Tucker each had 12 digs.

Lourdes returns home on Tuesday evening as the Gray Wolves host Bethel (Ind.). First serve is set for 7 p.m. inside the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
