SYLVANIA, Ohio (LourdesAthletics.com)Â -- The Lourdes University women's volleyball team capped off their season with a 3-1 victory over the visiting Concordia University Cardinals on Friday night. The Gray Wolves took the match in four sets, securing the win on a memorable senior day.
Lourdes honored six seniors—Lindsey Pumford, Katey Stakolich, Madison Smith, Maddie White, Mia Lopez, and Alex Pak—who each played on their home court at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center for the final time.
Alex Pak led the Gray Wolves with 10 kills, three service aces, one block, and 12 digs. Katey Stakolich added a well-rounded performance with 37 assists, four kills, one ace, two blocks, and 12 digs. Lindsey Pumford led with four service aces and contributed 10 digs. Madison Smith added six kills and 12 digs, while Maddie White contributed nine kills and 10 digs. Mia Lopez, playing through injury, delivered seven kills on 15 attempts for a team-best .333 hitting percentage.
The Gray Wolves finished the season with a 6-25 overall record and a 3-15 mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference, placing 11th in the conference standings.
