Lourdes rallied from a four-goal deficit to tie the game late in the third quarter on Wednesday, but Michigan-Dearborn responded with the next three tallies on the way to defeating the Gray Wolves 12-9 at Crestwood High School in Dearborn Heights, Mich.

The Wolverines jumped out to a 4-1 lead after the opening quarter and added another tally early in the second to push the lead to four. Lourdes closed within one, as
Kalani Hale (Charleston, W. Va./Capital H.S.),
Darin Briscoe (St. Catherine, Jamaica/Kingston College), and
Jack Durham (Zeeland, Mich./East H.S.) scored three straight goals to make it a 5-4 game. Michigan-Dearborn added a goal with 20 seconds left before halftime to take a 6-4 lead into the break.

The two schools would trade goals throughout the third before Hale and
Gavin Conley (Hanover, Ohio/Licking Valley H.S.) tallied back-to-back goals to tie the game at eight heading into the final 15 minutes. Michigan-Dearborn (4-3, 2-0 WHAC) scored the next three goals to retake the lead on the way to the win.

Dique Reid (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin East H.S.) won 13-of-23 faceoffs and collected a team-high nine ground balls while
Hayden Barber (Temperance, Mich./Bedford H.S.) caused three turnovers.

Lourdes (3-3, 0-2) will head to Livonia, Mich. on Saturday afternoon to face Madonna. The opening faceoff is set for 3 p.m.
