Lourdes ran into a hot Concordia (Mich.) squad on Wednesday afternoon as the sixth-ranked Cardinals defeated the Gray Wolves 31-4 at Cardinal Stadium in Ann Arbor, Mich.

After Concordia scored the game's first four goals, Lourdes responded with three of its own to pull within one midway through the opening period.Â

The Cardinals would score the game's next 15 goals, building a 17-3 lead at halftime while also scoring the first two goals of the third quarter.Â
Kalani Hale (Charleston, W. Va./Capital H.S.) briefly stopped the run with a goal with 10:09 to play in the period, only to see Concordia tally the game's final 12 goals.

Lourdes (3-6, 0-5) will return to the field on Saturday morning as the Gray Wolves host Taylor. The opening faceoff is set for 11 a.m. at Ottawa Hills High School with Senior Day activities taking place prior to the game.
