ANN ARBOR, Mich. (LourdesAthletics.com) -- The Lourdes University women's basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a 65-56 road loss to Concordia University (Mich.) on Saturday afternoon inside Cardinal Fieldhouse. Despite the setback, the Gray Wolves finished a record-setting season with an 18-10 overall record and a 12-8 mark in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) play, securing the No. 7 seed in the conference tournament. Lourdes will now host No. 10 seed Madonna University in a WHAC Tournament opening-round game on Monday evening at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center.
Macie Stringfellow led the way for Lourdes with 21 points on an efficient 8-of-12 shooting performance, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Emma Pedroza added 12 points, knocking down a pair of triples and converting all four of her free throw attempts, while Tamyah Worthy contributed 11 points, four rebounds, and four assists. The Gray Wolves shot 43.5% from the field and 40% from three-point range but were unable to overcome a Concordia squad that held a 37-18 rebounding advantage.

With the regular season complete, No. 7 Lourdes will host No. 10 Madonna in a WHAC Tournament play-in game on Monday at 7 p.m. inside the Ebeid Recreation Center.
