Lourdes University dropped a three-set decision to Madonna University (25-17, 25-18, 25-19) on Wednesday evening in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action.

Senior Rachel Allison and freshman Johanna Tester paced the Gray Wolves' offense with several kills apiece, while senior Jolie Sobb and sophomore Mia Karl added to the attack. Setter Zoe Schuele provided multiple assists and a service ace, and libero Emma Coffey added defensive support in the back row.

Despite several scoring runs, Lourdes was unable to sustain momentum against a consistent Crusaders' frontline and serving game.

The loss dropped Lourdes to 5-4 overall and 0-2 in WHAC play.
