SYLVANIA, Ohio – Amidst a season full of record-breaking performances, Lourdes' bowling programs have swept this week's WHAC individual Awards, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Sophomore men's bowler
Reece Kramer won the WHAC men's bowler of the week award for the second consecutive week, after winning the AHBA Roseland Lanes Collegiate Open this past Saturday with an average game score of 253.5 pins.
The Maumee, Ohio native has been on a scorching hot stretch, compiling back-to-back top three finishes. He helped lead the Gray Wolves men's team to a 2
nd-place finish in the Roseland Lanes event. He also helped them break a Lourdes program record for pins in a single game with 1,143 in game four as a team.
Freshman women's bowler
Veronica Flanagan won the WHAC women's bowler of the week award for the second time in the past month, finishing 2
nd individually at the AHBA and helping the team finish in 2
nd as well.
The Vandergrift, Pa. native set a new Lourdes individual record with a 289 game two in the open, beating teammate
Cassi Kieper's record that she just set last week. Flanagan also helped the women's team break their program record for pins in a game with 1,061 as a team.
The Gray Wolves bowling programs head to Indianapolis over Valentine's Day weekend to compete in the Hoosier Classic.
