The following were Gray Wolves wrestlers who received awards and honors for their performances during the WHAC season and the WHAC tournament.

Ty Cobb (197)
Cobb received the most honors on the team with three and he also earned an NAIA National Qualifying spot. He was consistently ranked in the top-25 197-pound individual wrestlers in the NAIA this season, helping him achieve Second-Team All-WHAC status in the 197-pound weight class. Cobb also excelled off the mats too, receiving a WHAC All-Academic selection and a Champions of Character selection.

Colin Sullivan (285)
Sullivan was a powerhouse in the heavyweight class for the Gray Wolves this season, winning both the WHAC Newcomer of the Year award as a freshman and the prestigious First-Team All-WHAC selection for the 285-pound weight class. He joined Cobb as an NAIA National Qualifier.

Nick Rodriguez (133)
The senior from Toledo, Ohio became the second Gray Wolves wrestler to win a WHAC All-Academic selection on the afternoon. Rodriguez was also a force to be reckoned with this year on the mats in the lighter weight classes, especially in the 133-pound class.

Coach Dock Kelly
The final Lourdes honor went to head coach Dock Kelly, who won the Champions of Character Coach Award. Kelly has been a vital figure in Lourdes athletics for over a decade and has built the wrestling program from scratch, leading them to greatness.

The men's wrestling program has placed in the top-40 in the NAIA National Championships nine times under Kelly's time at the helm, and they've made the tournament ten straight seasons. Coach Kelly talked post-meet about his final regular season meet as head coach of the Gray Wolves.

Coach Kelly's Post-meet comments
"We competed hard this weekend, especially considering the circumstances in which we are competing under," Coach Kelly said. "Coach Piszker had them prepared to compete, and he deserves all of the credit for that. I am so proud of Colin Sullivan for winning a conference title. He has worked so hard all year long, and it paid off today. I'm also equally proud of Ty Cobb and Cole McKinley for wresting solid and placing in their respective weight classes. I'm grateful for the opportunity that we have to compete at the NAIA National wrestling tournament in a few weeks. I am grateful for the opportunity to have coached this program for the past 10 years."

Next Meet
As Coach Kelly said, the next men's wrestling meet will be the NAIA National Championships, taking place from March 5 through March 7 in Park City, Kan.
