2022 CC: Raced in all six meets for the Gray Wolves … had a best 5K mark of 18:27.71 at the Terracotta Open (Sept. 16) … ran a 29:14.1 7K at the Bethel Invitational (Oct. 7).
 
2022 TF: Ran the 800m and 1500m along with the 3000m steeplechase as a junior … posted a season’s best 800m time of 2:05.63 … had a time of 4:18.56 in the 1500m, tops on the team … ran 10:11.42 in the 3000m steeplechase.
 
2021 CC: Raced all seven times as a junior … had an 8K season’s top mark of 28:43.5 at the Great Lakes Invitational (Oct. 23) … ran 17:54.1 over 5K at the Warrior Invitational on Sept. 2 … selected to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team.
 
2021 TF: Raced in the 800m and 1500m runs and the 3000m steeplechase on the oval … season’s best time of 2:10.05 in the 800m came on April 3 … turned in a 1500m best of 4:24.83 on April 10 … ran a 10:37.36 in the steeplechase on April 24.
 
2019 CC (HFC): Competed in four events as a rookie for the Lakers … turned in a season’s best 8K time of 29:37.26 while finishing 18^th at the Association of Independent Institutions championship (Nov. 9) … had a four-mile time of 24:02.0 at the Tom Berry Invitational (Aug. 31) … named team’s Most Improved Runner.
 
Prep: Lettered in track and field for the Spartans … a state qualifier in the 4x800m relay … a First Team All-Southwestern Michigan Athletic Conference selection … team’s Most Improved Runner.
 
Personal: Nolan is the son of Mike and Krista Portteus … major is sport management.
