Biography

2024-2025: Jelacic cemented her legacy as the program’s most dominant wrestler, winning her second straight national championship by capturing the 110-pound title after previously winning at 101 pounds, and finishing her career as a four-time NAIA All-American. She was also honored as an NWCA Scholar All-American and MSC Academic All-Conference selection, balancing championship-level performance with academic excellence while preparing to represent the Serbian national team internationally.

2023-2024: 101lb National Champion... 101lb Mid-South Conference Champion... 2x Female athlete of the year...NAIA Scholar All-American...MSC Wrestler of the week...Led team with a  24-1 record...Mayor of Sylvania declared March 19, 2024 and every future March 19 as Stefana Jelacic Day in Sylvania. 

2022-2023: Mainly wrestled at 109 pounds for the Gray Wolves … earned NAIA All-American accolades after finishing seventh at the NAIA National Championships … a Second Team All Mid-South Conference selection … led team with a 14-3 record overall … won five matches via falls and four by technical fall … had two decisions … named MSC Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 6 … a member of the MSC All-Academic Team … named to the Dean’s List fall semester. 

2021-2022: Did not see action for the Gray Wolves. 

2020-2021: Recorded an 11-2 record as a rookie for the Gray Wolves … led team in victories … earned All-American after finishing third at 116 pounds at the NAIA National Invitational … a Second Team All Mid-South Conference selection … named MSC Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 1 and NAIA National Wrestler of the Week on Feb. 3 … named to the Dean’s List spring semester. 

HS: Graduated Chandler High School 2020...Awarded two letters...Team Captain...First Female wrestling state champion...First AZ Fargo National Champion...Pan American Champion...Tricia Saunders Award Winner...Opted to wrestle boys her senior year becoming the 2nd female to qualify for boy’s state championship. 

Personal:  Hometown is Mesa, Arizona...Majoring in Sports Management...Chose Lourdes because of the wrestling program and apartment style housing...Fun Fact: Likes to be first and has a black cat named Sasuke.
