Lourdes University Athletics

Chaz Poindexter joined the Lourdes University baseball program as a volunteer assistant in the fall of 2016.  With the Gray Wolves he works primarily with the infielders, catchers, and hitters.

Poindexter arrived at Lourdes after spending the 2016 season as a student manager at Eastern Michigan University, when the Eagles advance to the semifinals of the Mid-American Conference Tournament. 

An outfielder at Siena Heights University, Poindexter helped the Saints capture the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament title in 2012, advancing to the NAIA National Tournament Opening Round.

Poindexter played his prep baseball at Milan High School, where he was an All-State outfielder in Michigan.

Poindexter is slated receive his bachelor’s degree in health and human performance from Eastern Michigan in the spring of 2017.
