Cody Carroll joined the Gray Wolves’ baseball staff as an assistant coach in August of 2011 prior to the program’s first season. Carroll is also in charge of the team’s strength and conditioning.
Since his arrival, Lourdes has produced four Honorable Mention All-WHAC selections as well as four WHAC Gold Glove recipients. The Gray Wolves have also earned five Player/Pitcher of the Week accolades from the conference.
Lourdes baseball student-athletes have had 39 players named to the WHAC All-Academic Team during his stay, and the Gray Wolves have been named a NAIA Scholar Team three times. The Gray Wolves have produced a pair of CoSIDA Academic All-District I First Team student-athletes as well.
Carroll arrived at Lourdes after spending one season as an assistant coach at Northland College (Wis.) where he was the hitting and outfield coach for the Lumberjacks.
A career .359 hitter as a player at Northland during his collegiate days, he ranks in the top-three in most of the school’s offensive statistical categories both for a career and single season. He was a three-time team captain as well.
Carroll is a 2010 graduate of Northland earning a bachelor’s degree in physical education.
