Travis Pant joined the Lourdes University baseball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2021.
While with the Gray Wolves, Lourdes has produced a First Team and a Second Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selections as well as a trio of players were named to the WHAC Gold Glove Team. A total of 43 student-athletes have been named to the WHAC All-Academic Team while 37 garnered NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors.
Pant arrived at Lourdes after serving as the assistant coach at Hillsdale College in 2020-2021, where he worked daily with the pitching staff and coached first base.
Prior to Hillsdale, Pant was the head varsity coach at Summerfield High School in Petersburg, Mich. for five seasons. During that time, he produced five All-State selections and led the Bulldogs to a state championship in 2019. His teams won three district titles and two regional crowns during his tenure at Summerfield.
Experienced with coaching summer teams as well, Pant led the Lincoln Park Rails 18U squad for one season while serving as the pitching coach for Demand Command Toledo 16U for another. He also spent time with the Ida Post 514 19U team.
Pant pitched collegiately at Lake Michigan Community College in 2010-2011.
A 2015 graduate of Lourdes, Pant earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history.
