Fatai Alabi joined the Lourdes University men's soccer staff as an assistant coach prior to the start of the 2017 season.
During his first four seasons at Lourdes, he has helped coach two Second Team All Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference selections as well as a pair WHAC All-Newcomer Team honoree. In addition, 10 players have been named WHAC Players of the Week while he was on the staff.
Alabi arrived at Lourdes after playing professionally for AD Oliverense and Mosta FC in Portugal and Malta during 2015 and 2016.
During his collegiate career, Alabi played at Wallace State Community College before transferring to the University of Alabama-Birmingham. With the Blazers, he earned All-Conference USA Third Team honors as a junior.
Alabi is a 2015 graduate of UAB, receiving his Bachelor of Science in kinesiology.
