Isaiah Williams joined the Lourdes University volleyball staff in August of 2022 as an assistant coach for both the men’s and women’s teams.
Williams returned to his alma mater, where he played for the Gray Wolves in 2018 and 2019, helping Lourdes to a pair of conference titles. As a junior in 2018, Williams helped lead Lourdes to the semifinals at the NAIA National Invitational.
As a senior with the Gray Wolves, Williams was selected to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Champions of Character Team.
Upon graduation, Williams traveled to Cambridge, United Kingdom where he played at Anglia Ruskin University for two seasons. He was nominated for Male Athlete of the Year in 2021-2022 and helped his team to the British University and Club Sports conference championship.
Williams began his collegiate playing career at Bluefield where he was the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2015 before heading to Pierce Community College for the 2016 season.
While in the United Kingdom, Williams was a Cambridge National Team Juniors assistant coach in 2020-2021. He has also worked various camps and clinics in the United States.
Williams is a 2019 graduate of Lourdes with a bachelor’s degree in business marketing before earning his Master of Business Administration degree from Anglia Ruskin in 2022.
