Gabrielle Hope Thelen joined the Lourdes University women’s basketball staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2022.
Thelen arrived at Lourdes from Jackson College where she was a volunteer assistant for both the women’s basketball and women’s soccer programs. With the Jets she oversaw training sessions, helped with player evaluations, and assisted with film review.
Prior to Jackson, Thelen worked at Temple University within both their box office and as an equipment manager for the football program. She played collegiate soccer at Jackson College.
Thelen walked on as a novice rower for Temple University competing in the 2018-2019 season. During her season, she competed in the collegiate indoor rowing race, Center City Slam, finishing with a Silver Medal as an individual in the Novice race. She finished her season with the team taking home the 2019 Jefferson Dad Veil Regatta Title at their home course, The Schuylkill River.
Thelen is a 2021 graduate of Temple earning her Bachelor of Science in sport and recreation management. Previously, she earned her associate degree from Jackson College American Honors in 2018.
