Lourdes University Athletics

Allison Plasencio joined the Lourdes University volleyball staff as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season.

Plasencio arrived at Lourdes after a standout playing career with the Gray Wolves, where she was a key contributor in the back row. A three-time Second Team All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) selection, she led her team in digs each season and earned WHAC Defender of the Week honors multiple times. Plasencio's exceptional defensive play helped her record over 500 digs in both her junior and senior years, including a career-high 601 digs in 2021. She also added a strong serving presence, tallying more than 20 service aces each season.

In addition to her experience as a player, Plasencio has been coaching at Athlete HQ Club since 2018, where she has honed her coaching skills and worked with athletes at various levels. Her extensive coaching background complements her playing experience, making her an asset to the Lourdes volleyball program.

Plasencio is a 2024 graduate of Lourdes University, having obtained her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
