The Lourdes University Men's Volleyball team was on the road Saturday at Robert Morris University for doubleheader action against Robert Morris University and the College Mt. St. Joseph. The Gray Wolves were successful in both competitions winning both in straight sets action.
The Gray Wolves dominated Robert Morris in three sets winning 25-21, 25-19 and 25-20. Lourdes finished with an attacking percentage of .265 behind 32 kills on 83 attempts. Frank Craig played big at the net finishing with 10 kills for the Gray Wolves. Pierce Stewart would add to his season leading assist total with 30. In the three sets the Gray Wolves finished with Aces.
Following a short break the Gray Wolves were set to pick up where they left off as they played the College of Mt. St. Joseph. The Gray Wolves would dominate the match in three sets winning 25-19, 25-19 and 25-19. The attacking percentage would pick up for the Gray Wolves finishing with an impressive .337 on 38 kills on 83 total attempts. Pierce Stewart would finish with 33 assists and Nick DiMarco and Frank Craig each finished with 9 kills.
The Gray Wolves wins moves their record to 6-7 overall and 5-6 in MAMVIC play.
Next up for the Gray Wolves is the College of Mt. St. Joseph Tournament with four games starting on Saturday at 1pm against MSOE.
