The Lourdes Gray Wolves hosted the Saints of Siena Heights University on Tuesday night at the Sylvania Tam-O-Shanter in the final regular season game of the year. The Gray Wolves finished off the season with a victory in three sets.

The first set was owned from beginning to end by the Gray Wolves as they opened a 5-1 lead and never looked back winning the set easily 25-13. Lourdes finished the set with an attacking percentage of .556 to Siena Heights .069. Lourdes finished the set with 10 kills on 18 total attempts while Siena Heights finished with 11 kills on 29 attempts. Lourdes committed 0 errors while the Saints finished with 9 in the set. Nick DIMarco finished with 5 kills to lead Lourdes.

\Set two would look a lot like set one with Lourdes dominating from the beginning to end. Lourdes won the set easily 25-14 and was never even close. Lourdes would give away seven free points on service errors in the set while Siena committed two service errors. Lourdes finished the set with an attacking percentage of .325 while Siena Heights was at -.308. Siena Heights was limited in the set to just one kill to Lourdes 13 on 24 attempts. Pierce Stewart finished the set with 12 assists and Nick DiMarco with eight kills.

The third set would be a little tougher for the Gray Wolves as they looked for the sweep. Early on Lourdes seemed to be out of sync in the set eventually having a three point game with Lourdes leading 13-10 midway through the set. The Gray Wolves eventually would pull away with the victory of 25-17 for the sweep.  Lourdes finished the set with 13 kills on 25 total attempts and six errors while Siena Heights finished with four kills on 29 attempts and eight errors.
 
The Gray Wolves move to 15-9 overall and 6-6 in the MAMVIC play. Next up for Lourdes is the MAMVIC East Tournament in Chicago, IL on March 30-31^st at St. Xavier University. Times are still waiting to be determined. Stay tuned to www.lourdesathletics.com for bracket information.
