Lourdes had four players finish in double figures on Monday evening as the Gray Wolves won their third straight game for the first time in program history, defeating Cincinnati Christian 70-66 in overtime at Presidents Hall in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Emily Orsini (Akron, Ohio/Archbishop Hoban H.S.) scored the first five points of overtime to put the Gray Wolves ahead 66-61 and Lourdes would not trail in the extra session.

"We definitely had a different style of a game tonight," head coach
Karen McConnell said afterwards.  "It was much more physical than we've seen so far. We got some key contributions for different players at different times though."

The Gray Wolves had to battle from behind most of the second half before taking a 61-59 lead in the final minute. The Eagles tied the game with 15 seconds remaining to force the overtime period.

Lauren Tilden (Ravenna, Ohio/Ravenna H.S.) went 4-for-6 from three-point range to lead the Gray Wolves with 16 points while Orsini added 14 more along with grabbing seven rebounds.Â
Molea Thompson (Mansfield, Ohio/Madison H.S.) tallied double figures for her third straight game as a rookie, finishing with 12 points, while
Jesse Fidler (Archbold, Ohio/Archbold H.S.) added 11 points and four steals.Â
Erica Davis (Cleveland, Ohio/Holy Name H.S.) came off of the bench to grab eight rebounds.

Cincinnati Christian (1-1), which led 29-27 at the break, was led by Beth Moorman and Amanda Baute. Each finished with 18 points.

Lourdes (3-0) will wrap up its three-game road trip on Saturday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves travel to Mount Vernon Nazarene. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at Ariel Arena in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
