Lourdes University's men's volleyball team won for the fourth time in its last five matches on Monday evening, posting a 25-22, 25-13, 25-21 sweep of Lindenwood-Belleville at Lynx Arena in Belleville, Ill.

The Gray Wolves used an early five-point run, keyed by a pair of service aces from
Jo'Lon Clark (Compton, Calif./Long Beach Poly H.S.) to build an 8-4 lead. Lourdes would not trail again in the opening set, taking an early lead in the match.

Set two was dominated by Lourdes as the Gray Wolves hit .357 while limiting the Lynx to a -.100 hitting percentage. With the set tied at five, Lourdes scored 16 of the next 19 points to seize control and build a 13-point lead, 21-8 on the way to a 2-0 lead in the match.

The final set saw another Lourdes run allow the Gray Wolves to take control. Tied at eight, Lourdes went on a 10-4 run and eventually finished off the sweep.

Clark led the Gray Wolves with 13 kills while
Frank Craig (Jacksonville, Fla./Englewood H.S.) hit .467 with eight kills.Â
Steve Barcus (Mount Vernon, Ohio/Mount Vernon H.S.) handed out 33 assists while defensively
Brad Miller (Convoy, Ohio/Crestview H.S.) led the way with 10 digs.

Zach Thompson paced Lindenwood-Belleville (0-21) with nine kills as the Lynx hit just .050 for the match as a team.
