Lourdes University's men's volleyball team posted its third consecutive victory and fifth in its last six matches on Tuesday evening as the Gray Wolves defeated Culver-Stockton 25-20, 25-15, 25-17 at Charles Field House in Canton, Mo.

The Gray Wolves hit .326 for the match led by
Garrett Jones' (Las Vegas, Nev./Las Vegas H.S.) 13 kills and .455 hitting percentage on the evening.Â
Jo'Lon Clark (Compton, Calif./Long Beach Poly H.S.) and
Keanu Jacinto (Encinitas, Calif./La Costa Canyon H.S.) tallied 11 kills each.

A 9-3 run early in the opening set as well as an 8-1 spurt later aided the Gray Wolves take the advantage from the start. Lourdes raced out to a 10-2 lead in set two and never trailed in the stanza while hitting .379 and holding the Wildcats to a .000 hitting mark.

Culver-Stockton took a 6-2 lead in the third before a 14-6 run by the Gray Wolves put Lourdes firmly in control. Again Lourdes had a stellar offensive set, hitting .367.

Brad Miller (Convoy, Ohio/Crestview H.S.) tallied 17 digs defensively as the Gray Wolves outdug Culver-Stockton 43-29 for the night.Â

th straight contest.
