#4 Indiana Tech Downs Lourdes 18-5

Playing its last road regular season contest of the regular season on Saturday evening, Lourdes dropped an 18-5 decision to fourth-ranked Indiana Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play in Fort Wayne, Ind.
 
The Warriors scored three times in the first 1:31 of the game before Faith Fisher (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) scored an unassisted tally to put the Gray Wolves on the scoreboard.
 
Indiana Tech (7-4, 7-2 WHAC) increased its lead to 11-1 before Fisher scored again midway through the first half.  The Warriors led 17-2 at halftime and scored the first goal of the second half before the Gray Wolves added three late markers.
 
Fisher scored on a free position shot at the 14:59 mark of the second half and added her fourth goal of the game just over five minutes later.  Katie Cerveny (Erie, Mich./Mason Senior H.S.) scored Lourdes final goal with 1:42 to play in the contest.
 
Alexa Winter and Autumn McMillin scored four times each to pace Indiana Tech.  The Warriors outshot Lourdes 2-15 for the game, including 22-11 on goal.  Amanda Kaczmarek (Berkey, Ohio/Evergreen H.S.) made four saves in goal for the Gray Wolves.
 
Lourdes (1-13, 0-9) will wrap up the regular season on Monday night, traveling to Adrian, Mich. to host Aquinas in a make-up of a March 29 postponement.  The opening draw is set for 8 p.m. on the campus of Siena Heights University.
