Lourdes wrapped up the 2015 regular season on Saturday evening with a late goal to post a 1-1 double-overtime draw with Madonna at Wildcat Stadium.

Barry Spitzer said afterwards. "Now we have to get ready for the conference tournament."

Sam Miller (Sylvania, Ohio/Northview H.S.) headed home the equalizer on a cross from
Akilla Arno (Omaha, Neb./Northwest Magnet H.S.) with just 9:46 remaining in regulation for his first goal of the season.

Madonna had taken the 1-0 lead in the 15
th minute as Nick Peper headed home a Colin Wilden corner kick at the far post.

Lourdes outshot the Crusaders 15-12 for the match but held just a slim 4-3 advantage on frame. The Gray Wolves had 13 corner kick opportunities in a match which saw 23 total corners.

Mark Darling (Jacksonville, Fla./Mandarin H.S.) earned the win between the posts, making two stops while John Bourdreau made two saves in the final 65 minutes for Madonna (8-5-5, 3-5-3 WHAC) after Marcel Schmid made one stop in the first half.

Lourdes (7-6-2) will now head to the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference tournament which begins next Saturday with the quarterfinals on campus sites.
