E.J. Blackwell (Rochester, Pa./Rochester H.S.) each scored 22 points while
Alonzo Hamilton (Linden, N.J./The Robinson School) added 15 points.Â
Julian Johnson (Columbus, Ohio/Horizon H.S.) added a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds while handing out six assists.

"This was a good team effort tonight," head coach
Andre Smith said afterwards. "We were able to get production from our bench and get some guys some minutes. The game allowed us to work on some things for down the road, especially heading into a tough contest on Saturday."

A 19-5 run over seven minutes allowed the Gray Wolves to open up a 25-9 lead midway through the first half. Akron Wayne answered with 11 unanswered points to pull within five with four minutes to play before halftime, only to see Lourdes respond with an 11-1 run of its own before intermission.

Leading 37-25 at the break, Lourdes surrendered a three-pointer to open the second half, allowing the Warriors to pull within single digits for the final time in the contest. A 15-0 run over four minutes in the second half sealed the victory for the Gray Wolves, increasing the lead to 78-44.

Lourdes shot 60.5% from the floor in the second half and outscored the Warriors 64-20 in the paint and 24-0 in transition in the contest.Â

Ci'Andre Johnson-Lollar led Akron Wayne (4-6) with 12 points while Zachary Sperling and Gunnar Tharp each scored nine points off of the bench for the Warriors.

Lourdes (6-4) will begin a five-game road trip on Saturday afternoon, as the Gray Wolves head to Grand Rapids, Mich. to face third-ranked Davenport. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at the DU Student Center.
