Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: After playing six matches over a five day span last week, Lourdes readies itself for another busy week as the Gray Wolves will play three times in a four day span.  Lourdes hosts Calumet on Tuesday evening before taking to the road for matches at Trinity International on Thursday and Cardinal Stritch on Friday.

Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his fourth season both on the Lourdes bench, and overall coaching men's volleyball, Greg Reitz has a 51-32 (.614) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves.  He was named to the MAMVIC East Coach of the Year in 2012 and the Great Lakes Conference Coach of the Year in 2014.  Reitz is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes and Calumet have never met in men's volleyball.  Lourdes and Trinity International will be meeting for the first time in men's volleyball.  Cardinal Stritch holds a 5-2 all-time advantage against the Gray Wolves dating back to Jan. 27, 2012.  The Wolves won the first meeting last season at Tam-o-Shanter in five sets before Lourdes notched a straight sets win in Milwaukee, Wis.  The two schools met again in the Great Lakes Conference championship, with the Gray Wolves winning in five sets.  The series is tied 1-1 in Milwaukee.

Wrapping Last Week: Lourdes opened the week on Tuesday with a three-set victory at Siena Heights in non-conference action as Jo'Lon Clark hit .458 with 14 kills and eight digs.  Thursday night the Gray Wolves needed four sets to score a GLC victory at Saint Xavier.  Clark notched 20 kills in that win.  On Friday against #1 Grand View, the Gray Wolves fell in straight sets despite 16 kills by Frank Craig.  In Friday's second match, Lourdes suffered a five set loss to Graceland, with Craig again leading the way with 20 kills.  Saturday began with a four set loss to #6 Hope International as Julian Rivera led the way for Lourdes with 17 kills.  In the fourth and final match of the Molten Invitational on Saturday, Lourdes fell in four sets to #9 Saint Ambrose.  Clark hit .429 with 19 kills in the setback.

Scouting Calumet: The Crimson Wave began their men's volleyball program this season and are still looking for their first victory.  Calumet fell in four sets at home to Siena Heights on Saturday in their last outing.  Dominick Terry leads the Crimson Wave with 22 kills while Ruben Maciel has handed out 30 assists.  Liam Fagan has 15 digs and Jose Gonzelez has a team-leading six blocks.

Scouting Trinity International: The Trojans are in their first season of men's volleyball and are still looking for their first victory of the year.  Trinity International fell in five sets, dropping a 15-13 final set decision, at home to Siena Heights on Friday night.  David Priest leads the way for the Trojans with 56 kills while Austin Tafoya has handed out 69 assists.  Tafoya also leads the team with 14 digs while Kevin Montelongo has tallied a team-leading five blocks.

Scouting Cardinal Stritch: The Wolves dropped three of their four matches at the Molton Invitational last weekend, falling to #1 Grand View, #4 Clarke, and Warner while downing Graceland.  Drew Hogan leads the way for the Wolves with 99 kills while Joe Duda has handed out 199 assists.  Patrick Ronan leads the way defensively with 113 digs while Connor O'Ryan has tallied 31 blocks.  Cardinal Stritch hosts Saint Xavier on Tuesday before entertaining Lourdes on Friday.

Still in the Polls: Lourdes is ranked ninth in the latest NAIA Men's Volleyball poll (week two), despite dropping four of six matches last week.  The Gray Wolves opened the year eighth in the preseason poll before moving up to seventh after week one, which marked an all-time high.  Lourdes previous high was ninth in the team's inaugural 2012 season.

Miranda Tallies Two Double-Doubles: Amaury Miranda registered a pair of double-doubles for the Gray Wolves last week during the Molten Invitational.  The freshman setter handed out 47 assists and registered 21 digs against Graceland on Friday before tallying 25 assists and recording 11 digs on Saturday against Saint Ambrose.  Jo'Lon Clark has the team's only other double-double this year, doing so in the season opener against Robert Morris (Ill.).
