Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his second season on the Lourdes bench, Paul Sieben has a 3-18 (.143) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Series Notes: Lourdes is 0-3 all-time against Davenport dating back to March 8, 2014.  The Panthers won the first meeting between the two schools this season 17-5 on March 7 at Detroit Country Day School. In the only previous meeting in Grand Rapids, Davenport defeated the Gray Wolves 21-4 on March 27, 2014.  Siena Heights and Lourdes are meeting for the first time this season but the Saints hold a 2-0 all-time edge in a series dating back to March 18, 2014, an 18-8 Siena Heights win in Adrian, Mich.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes scored four straight goals midway through the second half on Wednesday and held on to defeat Alma 12-10 for the Gray Wolves' first victory of the season.  Alyssa Long scored four times while Mackenzie Moriarty added three more goals in the win.  On Saturday, Lourdes blanked Franklin in the second half on the way to a 15-5 triumph.  Long tallied four goals for the Gray Wolves while Katie Cerveny, Jessie Frost, and Moriarty each had three-point games in the win.

Scouting Davenport: The Panthers remain unbeaten this season following a 14-7 triumph on Saturday against fourth-ranked Indiana Tech.  Kaitlyn Lowden leads the team in scoring with 10 goals this season while Taylor Balch has a team-high 18 points on nine goals and nine assists.  In goal, Samantha Powers has logged a majority of the minutes, sporting a 4.80 goals against average and a .538 save percentage.  Wednesday's game against Lourdes will be Davenport's home opener.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have won three of their last four games following a triple overtime win over Aquinas on Saturday.  Erin Kehn leads Siena Heights with 18 goals and 20 total points while Aliisa Mason has added 14 goals.  Between the posts, Tabitha Ferguson sports a 13.08 goals against average and has a .374 save percentage.  The Saints are in the midst of a six-game homestand and will host Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening before entertaining Lourdes on Friday night.

Long Earns WHAC Accolades: Alyssa Long was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring eight goals and adding an assist in the two wins last week.  Long tallied 12 shot attempts in the two games, with 10 of the shots being on goal.  She is the first WHAC Player of the Week in program history.

Janiga Blanks the Grizzlies: Margaret Janiga did not surrender a goal in the second half on Saturday afternoon, entering the game in relief at halftime.  The freshman has posted an 11.17 goals against average in four appearances this season.

Doubling Last Year's Win Total: Lourdes enters the week riding a two-game winning streak, which doubles the win total of the Gray Wolves in all of 2014.  Last year Lourdes posted a 1-15 record in the program's inaugural season.

Record-Setting Outing: The 15 goals Lourdes scored against Franklin mark a new school record for scoring in a single game.  The previous record was 14 set against Siena Heights in 2014.

Captains Named: Lourdes will have tri-captains this season.  Shelby Linenkugel will serve as a captain for the second consecutive season while Jessie Frost and Katie Cerveny will also serve in a leadership role this year.
