Upcoming in Gray Wolves Volleyball: A busy week is ahead for the Lourdes volleyball team as the Gray Wolves will play four times in five days beginning on Tuesday. Lourdes looks to wrap up the Great Lakes Conference regular season title this week, traveling to Robert Morris (Ill.) and Calumet on Tuesday and Wednesday before hosting Saint Xavier on Friday for Senior Night. The Gray Wolves then travel to NCAA Division I IPFW on Saturday evening.
Head Coach Greg Reitz: In his fourth season both on the Lourdes bench, and overall coaching men's volleyball,
Greg Reitz has a 60-33 (.645) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves. He was named to the MAMVIC East Coach of the Year in 2012 and the Great Lakes Conference Coach of the Year in 2014. Reitz is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Lourdes won the only previous meeting against Calumet, downing the Crimson Wave in three sets on Feb. 3 at Tam-o-Shanter. Lourdes is 8-1 all-time against Robert Morris (Ill.) after a five-set victory over the Eagles on Jan. 23 in the season opener. The Gray Wolves hold a 2-1 all-time advantage against the Eagles in Chicago, Ill. Lourdes is 9-0 all-time against Saint Xavier after a four-set victory in Chicago on Jan. 29. Lourdes is 3-0 against the Eagles in home matches. IPFW won the only previous meeting between the two schools on Jan. 25, 2013 in straight sets in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Wrapping Last Week: Lourdes defeated Cardinal Stritch last Tuesday in five sets behind 32 kills and a .466 hitting percentage from
Frank Craig. The Gray Wolves swept Trinity International on Friday night as
Jo'Lon Clark was perfect offensively with 11 kills on 11 swings. Lourdes fell in straight sets on Saturday morning against Saint Ambrose before downing Cincinnati Christian in three sets in match two of the day.

Scouting Saint Xavier: The Cougars have won two of their last three matches following a four-set victory at Cincinnati Christian on Friday. Saint Xavier hosts the Eagles in a rematch on Thursday before entertaining Lourdes. Sam Kull leads the Cougars with 227 kills and 69 blocks while Dominic Villa has recorded a team-leading 16 digs.

Tenth This Week in the Polls: Lourdes dropped one spot in the latest NAIA Men's Volleyball poll (week eight), after the Gray Wolves were ranked ninth last week. The Gray Wolves opened the year eighth in the preseason poll before moving up to seventh after week one, which marked an all-time high. Lourdes previous high was ninth in the team's inaugural 2012 season.
