Behind an impressive offensive performance which saw the Gray Wolves hit .396 for the evening, Lourdes swept Concordia (Mich.) 25-8, 25-17, 25-18 on Wednesday evening at Cardinal Fieldhouse in Ann Arbor, Mich. to run the team's school record win streak to 10 straight matches to open the 2015 season.

"It's always good to get conference road wins," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We had more strong hitting performances and played solid defense. It will be nice to have a week off for a little break before getting into the meat of the league schedule."

The Gray Wolves forced nine attack errors by Concordia in the opening set, a total Lourdes would commit for the entire match, as the Cardinals hit -.114. Lourdes raced out to a 10-1 lead to start the match and never looked back.

The second set saw Lourdes maintain just a two point lead, 16-14, before scoring nine of the final 12 points to build a 2-0 lead in the match. The Gray Wolves hit .438 in the stanza, registering 18 kills.

A 10-2 run in the third set opened up a 10-point advantage for the Gray Wolves, 17-7, as Lourdes cruised to the win.Â

Stephanie Ruffing (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty H.S.) led Lourdes with 13 kills on the night while
Molly Shonk (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley H.S.) added a double-double with 12 kills and 13 digs.Â
Stephanie Richards (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg H.S.) recorded nine kills on 14 swings to hit at a .643 clip.

Meghan Birr (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores H.S.) handed out 37 assists on the night while
Michi Jimenez (Vega Baja, P.R./Juan Quirindongo Morell H.S.) posted a match-high 18 digs.Â

Autumn VanKirk led Concordia (10-6, 2-3 WHAC) with eight kills in the loss.

Lourdes (10-0, 5-0) will have a week off before beginning a three-match homestand next Wednesday evening. The Gray Wolves will entertain Michigan-Dearborn beginning at 7 p.m. at Tam-o-Shanter.
