Playing a match more than three weeks after it was originally scheduled, Indiana Tech used a pair of goals in each half to defeat Lourdes 4-2 on Monday afternoon at Warrior Field in Fort Wayne, Ind.

"I thought we played well and battled hard throughout the match," head coach
Barry Spitzer said afterwards. "Unfortunately we just did not win the match."

Lourdes jumped in front less than 11 minutes into the match as
Carlos Viganoni (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Western H.S.) scored his second goal of the season and fifth of his career, firing a shot from 30 yards out that curled into the corner of the upper 90.

The Warriors tied the match midway through the opening half as Oswaldo Segura Diaz scored on a rebound. Roman Schindler put the hosts in front with 4:41 remaining before intermission, taking a through ball from Leo Gill and finding the back of the net.

The Gray Wolves answered just 21 seconds later as
Isamnia Cohen (Saint Elizabeth, Jamaica/Manchester H.S.) scored on a free kick from 25 yards out that glanced off of the far post and into the side netting, evening the match at halftime.

Schindler's second goal of the match with 30 minutes remaining proved to be the match-winner for the Warriors, and Brennan Cochran added an insurance tally in the 77
th minutes as Indiana Tech secured the victory.

Indiana Tech (12-2-1, 7-2-1 WHAC) outshot Lourdes 19-10 on the afternoon, including a 10-4 edge on goal. The Warriors also held an 8-4 edge in corner kick opportunities.

Jose Cedillo (Atlanta, Ga./Norcross H.S.) made five saves in goal for the Gray Wolves while Adam Viviano tallied a pair of stops for the Warriors.

Lourdes (6-7-1, 1-7-1) will close out the home portion of the schedule on Wednesday afternoon as the Gray Wolves host Michigan-Dearborn. Kickoff is set for 4 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
