No. 10 Lourdes remained undefeated at the Russell J. Ebeid Recreation Center on Wednesday evening as the Gray Wolves swept Davenport 25-20, 25-20, 25-17 to run its win streak to 10 consecutive matches overall.

The Gray Wolves are now 6-0 on their home floor, winning all 18 sets in the process.

Molly Shonk (Columbus, Ohio/Bishop Hartley H.S.) registered her seventh double-double of the season, tallying a match-high 17 kills while hitting .317, and added 15 digs defensively.Â
Meghan Birr (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores H.S.) handed out 40 assists, her season high for a three-set match.Â
Ave Stout (Huntertown, Ind./Bishop Luers H.S.) had seven kills without an error, swinging at a .636 clip.

Lourdes started slowly offensively, hitting just .130 while committing nine attack errors in the opening set, but managed to register three blocks on the way to taking the early lead. In the second, the Gray Wolf defense limited the Panthers to -.027 hitting before leading from start to finish in the final set, building a 24-12 lead before finally putting the match away.

"We started off a little shaky tonight in both our serve receive and our hitting," head coach
Greg Reitz said afterwards. "We were able to turn things around though. I thought we did a pretty good job of blocking, gaining momentum at some key times late in the match."

Angelica Dippold (Louisville, Ky./Mercy Academy) tallied a career-high19 digs for the Gray Wolves to lead all players while
Carolyn Manley (Holland, Ohio/Springfield H.S.) added 14 digs defensively.

Krissy Dill led Davenport (10-11, 5-4 WHAC) with 10 kills and 11 digs while Kasey Stehouwer had a team-high 14 digs.

Lourdes (15-3, 9-0) will take to the road for its next two matches, beginning on Friday evening, as the Gray Wolves travel to Lima, Ohio to face Northwestern Ohio. First serve at Racer Gymnasium is set for 7 p.m.
