Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: After playing four straight games at home, Lourdes takes to the road this week to face a pair of ranked WHAC opponents. The Gray Wolves head to Lawrence Tech on Wednesday evening before battling undefeated Indiana Tech in a Saturday afternoon affair.
Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his third season on the Lourdes bench,
Paul Sieben has a 9-28 (.243) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach. He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.
Series Notes: Lawrence Tech leads the all-time series with Lourdes 4-0 dating back to March 25, 2014. Last season the Blue Devils were 14-13 victors in the first meeting at Lawrence Tech before downing Lourdes 20-11 at the Legacy Center in the Gray Wolves' "home" game. Indiana Tech is 5-0 all-time against Lourdes dating back to March 5, 2014. Last year, the Warriors posted a 20-6 win in Lourdes "home" game at the Legacy Center and a 16-4 victory in Fort Wayne, Ind..
Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes opened Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday afternoon, falling 21-2 to fourth-ranked Davenport. The Panthers scored the game's first 10 goals on the way to the win.Â
Jessie Frost and
Klarque Scott found the back of the cage for Lourdes. On Saturday Lourdes concluded its four-game homestand with a 10-4 victory over Aquinas.Â

Kiley Ketteman made 11 saves in goal.
Scouting Lawrence Tech: The Blue Devils had their three-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, falling 10-8 at Indiana Tech. Alyssa Shaver leads the Lawrence Tech offense with 36 goals and 44 total points. Ashley Collins has added 21 goals and a team-high 12 assists for 33 points while Kadijah Kalo has scored 22 times and has 31 points. In goal, Marie Klonowski has played every game, sporting a 9.98 goals against average and a .462 save percentage.
Scouting Indiana Tech: The Warriors enter the week undefeated after downing Lawrence Tech at home 10-8 on Saturday afternoon. Indiana Tech heads to Siena Heights on Wednesday before entertaining Lourdes on Saturday afternoon. Alexa Winter leads the Warriors with 24 goals and nine assists for 33 total points. Sam Vikstrom has added 11 goals, but Indiana Tech has had 11 different players score goals and 13 players tally points on the year. Meaghan Eldridge has played a majority of the minutes in goal, sporting a 4.29 goals against average and a .483 save percentage.
A Historic Win: Lourdes earned its first Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference victory in program history on Saturday with its 10-4 win over Aquinas. The Gray Wolves entered play 0-21 in league play during the three years the program has been around prior to the game against the Saints.
More Ranked Opponents: Lourdes is facing its fourth and fifth NAIA top-10 opponent of the season this year with Lawrence Tech and Indiana Tech both on the schedule this week. The Gray Wolves already battled three top-10 foes this season. All-time, Lourdes has played 19 games against ranked teams, but is still winless against them.
Doing the Little Things: Jessie Frost has led Lourdes with 17 draw controls this season, accounting for more than a third of the team's 47 total draw controls.Â
Hannah Cullis has been picking up ground balls for the Gray Wolves, collecting 21 through the first seven games. Cullis also leads Lourdes with 14 caused turnovers.
Long and Frost Pacing the Offense: Alyssa Long and
Jessie Frost have combined for 32 of the Gray Wolves' 60 goals this season. Long has 19 tallies and a team-high five assists for 24 total points. Frost has added 13 goals and 14 points this season. She is two tallies shy of her career high, and now has 40 career goals.
