Upcoming in Gray Wolves Lacrosse: The final week of the regular season has arrived, and with it comes a busy week for Lourdes as the Gray Wolves look to earn a berth in the WHAC tournament.  Lourdes hosts Indiana Tech on Wednesday before heading to Aquinas and Siena Heights on Friday and Saturday.  The regular season concludes on Sunday as Lawrence Tech visits Wildcat Stadium.

Head Coach Paul Sieben: In his third season on the Lourdes bench, Paul Sieben has a 9-32 (.220) record at the helm of the Gray Wolves and as a collegiate head coach.  He is the only head coach in Lourdes program's history.

Earlier This Season: Indiana Tech took a 12-1 lead on March 26 on the way to a 19-6 win over the Gray Wolves.  Alyssa Long led Lourdes with three goals while Kristina Scott and Alexa Winter each tallied five goals for the Warriors.  Long scored five times and Kiley Ketteman made 11 saves as Lourdes won its first WHAC game ever on March 19, defeating Aquinas 10-4.  Theresa Micallef scored twice to lead the Saints.  Siena Heights went on an 8-2 run midway through the game as the Saints defeated Lourdes 14-12 on March 30.  Long led Lourdes with four goals and Ketteman made 13 saves while Kayla Parks scored seven times to pace the Saints.  On March 23 Lawrence Tech built a 17-1 lead on the way to a 19-2 win.  Long and Jessie Frost each scored for Lourdes while Kadijah Kalo tallied five goals for the Blue Devils.

Wrapping Up Last Week: Lourdes was scheduled to face Aquinas and Lawrence Tech, but wintry weather postponed both games to this week.

Scouting Indiana Tech:  The Warriors have won four straight games after defeating Robert Morris (Ill.) 13-8 on Monday.  Alexa Winter leads Indiana Tech in scoring with 49 goals and 60 points while Meaghan Eldridge has played a majority of the minutes in goal, sporting a 5.72 goals against average and .479 save percentage.

Scouting Aquinas: The Saints are still looking for their first win after falling 18-7 to Davenport on Saturday.  Aquinas plays two games at Siena Heights before facing Lourdes.  Theresa Michallef leads Aquinas with 12 goals and 13 points.  Four different goalkeepers have combined to post a 16.56 GAA and a .313 save percentage this season.

Scouting Siena Heights: The Saints have dropped four straight games after falling 20-6 at Indiana Tech on Saturday.  Siena Heights hosts Aquinas for two games before hosting Lourdes.  Kayla Parks leads the Saints with 27 goals and 30 points while Tabitha Ferguson has played most of the minutes in goal, with a 14.74 GAA and a .352 save percentage.

Thanks Seniors: Lourdes three seniors, Katie Cerveny, Jessie Frost, and Lauren Pelton will be honored prior to Wednesday game against Indiana Tech.

Scoring in Bunches: Alyssa Long tallied all five of Lourdes' goals at Davenport, matching her season high for tallies in a game.  She also scored five times against Aquinas on March 19.  Long has scored four or more goals in a game 11 times over the last two seasons, including four times in 2016.  Her career high of six goals came in her collegiate debut at Lawrence Tech on Feb. 25, 2015.

Record-Setting Effort: Alyssa Long also set a new single game record for Lourdes at Davenport, collecting nine groundballs in the loss.  The previous Gray Wolf record was seven, which had been accomplished five times.

Doing a Little of Everything: Jessie Frost ranks among the team leaders in several categories this season.  The seniors has scored 17 goals, has four assists, and 21 total points, all marks that rank second on the squad.  Frost leads the team with 28 draw controls as well, while ranking third with 19 ground balls.

Looking to Set a New Wins Mark: Lourdes has matched its previous high for wins in a season after tallying its fourth victory of the year against Aquinas earlier this year at home.  The Gray Wolves also won four games in 2015.  In fact, with its next win, Lourdes will have doubled its previous total of all-time victories, as the Gray Wolves won five contests in its first two seasons combined.

Captains Named: Lourdes has tri-captains this season.  Hannah Cullis, Alyssa Long, and Margaret Janiga are all serving their first season as Gray Wolf leaders.

This and That: Hannah Cullis has collected 26 groundballs and has 21 caused turnovers, both marks that lead the team ... Lourdes is 4-0 this season when leading at halftime ... Anna Zofchak has scored three of her 10 goals with the man advantage.
